**Discontinued** was last offered Fall 2005 Last Updated: 07-JUN-2005 This course is designed to introduce the Display + Design students to Interior Design topics and studio skills that will be useful to their work as practising display professionals. Exercises and projects are designed to give the students a working knowledge of design elements, vocabulary and design principles as they apply to Interior Design. The students study two and three dimensional drafting techniques, become skilled at space planning of residential interior spaces, and are taught professional standards of presentation using felt markers and pencil crayons. A survey of design history helps the students understand the continuity of design ideas, and the foundation and components of style.
