FSIE 1120: Theatre History Field Studies

This is a Field Studies course that introduces students to the history of Western drama and theatre by travelling to London or New York. Educational activities, including live performances, walking and backstage tours, museum visits, public forums, and staged readings, will provide students with a vibrant learning experience. Students will complete a combination of written and oral assignments. They will receive credit for ENGL 1181 or 1191.

Prerequisite(s): One of the following: LET 4 (or LET 3 with strong recommendation of concurrent registration in ENGL 1121) or LPI equivalent; a minimum 80% in English First Peoples 12, English Studies 12, Literary Studies 12, or equivalent; or a minimum "C" in ENGL 1120; or an "S" in one of ENGL 1107, 1108, or 1110.
