This practicum provides the opportunity for the student to become familiar with the policies and procedures of a food service operation. Each student is involved for a minimum of 250 hours in the operation. Program students with 250 or more hours experience working in a food service operation within the past three years may be eligible for the flexible assessment option. Contact the department chair for further information. Graded S/U. Students who have registered in a FSRV or NUTR course twice or more must obtain approval of the department chair to register again.
Registration in this course is restricted to students admitted to the Diploma in Nutrition and Food Service Management.
