This course emphasizes family-centered care of infants, children, and youth. Students learn to develop caring and professional health care relationships with this population, focusing on health promotion and injury prevention. This course builds on previously learned concepts and integrates new and specialized knowledge and skills. Students have opportunities to broaden their experiences of interprofessionalism. Prerequisite(s): An "S" grade in NURS 2265. Corequisite(s): NURS 3111, 3115, and 3145.
