PUBL 1125 : Computer Software Applications II: Adobe Illustrator

**Discontinued** was last offered Spring 2004 Last Updated: 05-NOV-2003 In this condensed, hands-on, project-based course students will learn Adobe Illustrator, one of the most widely used graphics softwares in the advertising, printing and publishing industries. The software features precise drawing and transformation tools, multiple layering and undos, automatic tracing, colour palette, automatic graphing, precise typographic control over text, compound paths, masking, blending and gradations. Working on Macintosh computers, students will produce colour logos, 2-D (or 3-D) graphics, drawings, illustrations, and icons geared for high-quality offset printing, as well as for online and multimedia publishing.
