WILX 1101: International Work/Volunteer Experience Internship I

During this course, students participate in an international internship of up to two weeks. The internship involves observing and exploring an international professional environment with an intercultural and land-based learning focus. Students practice intercultural communication and engagement skills in an international work/volunteer environment. This course may be offered in-person or online. Students are required to apply for this course through Langara's Co-op and Career Development Centre. This course is not equivalent to other co-op options at the College. There may be additional student costs associated with this course (e.g. some travel expenses). Application does not guarantee acceptance to the course. Interested students should contact the Langara Co-op and Career Development Centre for more information.
