**Discontinued** was last offered Spring 2007 Last Updated: 05-JUL-2007 This course is designed to provide students with employability skills for the new labour market, and to allow students to enter career and training programs with increased confidence in their knowledge and abilities. The focus of the course is to provide practical information which will contribute to success both at college and at work. Topics to be covered include college culture, handling transition, employee/employer expectations, interpersonal skills, cross-cultural communications, healthy living, self-assessment, emotional intelligence, overcoming barriers, personal decision-making, financial management, acting planning and problem solving. Educational planning will also be a part of the course.

Note: CCAP courses may not be used as credit towards a Langara certificate or diploma.
