CCAP 1116 : Interpersonal and Organizational Strategies II

**Discontinued** was last offered Spring 2007 Last Updated: 05-JUL-2007 An introductory course which examines work organizations and how the behaviour of groups and individuals affect organizational performance. Students will construct a tool kit of interpersonal skills that are required for effective personal and managerial success. This hands-on course includes organizational structure, group processes, perception, motivation, communication, power processes, leadership, and organizational change. Students will practise these skills on a daily basis through role-playing and small-group exercises. The Training in Interpersonal Skills Diary (T.I.P.S.) format will provide the opportunity for students to reflect on their classroom activities and more fully integrate these competencies.

Note: CCAP courses may not be used as credit towards a Langara certificate or diploma.
