Topics covered include: client/server environment; creating and maintaining database tables; building procedures; functions and triggers; and creating Oracle data block forms and custom forms and reports to support business applications. Students gain experience problem solving, using prototyping techniques, designing effective graphical interfaces, accommodating user requirements and systems changes, scheduling and delivering projects, managing tight deadlines and making presentations.

Prerequisite(s): None. Previous experience with computers is recommended.
