**Discontinued** was last offered Summer 2009 Last Updated: 30-APR-2009 This course will introduce the students to the basic elements and principles of design as they pertain to interior design. Students will explore the foundation and components of style starting from Ancient Egypt, chronologically through the Gothic Period. An introduction to the principles of functional space planning will also be explored.

Prerequisite(s): Acceptance into the Display + Design Program. Corequisite(s): DDSN 1132
