DDSN 1238 : Interior Design II

**Discontinued** was last offered Fall 2005 Last Updated: 01-DEC-2005 This course is designed to introduce the Display + Design students to Interior Design topics and studio skills that will be useful to their work as practising display professionals. Exercises and projects are designed to give the students a working knowledge of design elements, vocabulary and design principles as they apply to Interior Design. The students study 2- and 3-dimensional drafting techniques, become skilled at space planning of residential interior spaces and are taught professional standards of presentation using felt markers and pencil crayons. A survey of design history helps the students understand the continuity of design ideas, and the foundation and components of style.
