**Discontinued** was last offered Fall 2005 Last Updated: 01-DEC-2005 Students begin to explore Display+Design on a larger, real world level. These studios explore alternative application of visual presentation and conceptualizing skills learned in the first two terms of the program. Subject areas covered include theatrical stagecraft materials, techniques and lighting. Large scale background and prop design and construction, special event decor design and installation. All projects are carried out in a team-based atmosphere. Budgeting and client interaction are included in the application of the projects. The learning outcome for these courses is directed towards the development of a well-rounded visual presentation technician who is prepared for the varied situations a career in Display + Design presents.
