This is a course designed for post degree internationally educated students who would like to further enhance their knowledge and competency in the fundamental skills of communication with an emphasis on reading and writing. This course will build on the material learned in ENGL 1098 and will allow students to further develop their skills. This course does not carry transfer credit, nor may it be used toward a Langara credential except in the Post-Degree Certificate in Diversity and Inclusion Leadership. This course does not act as a prerequisite to first year English courses. Graded S/U.
Registration in this course is restricted to students admitted to the Post-Degree Certificates in Diversity and Inclusion Leadership, Nursing Leadership and Management; and the Post-Degree Diplomas in Nursing Practice in Canada, Web and Mobile App Design and Development, Business Administration, Marketing Management, Accounting, and Applied Planning.
Prerequisite(s): An "S" grade in ENGL 1098.
