**Discontinued** was last offered Fall 2006 Last Updated: 13-DEC-2006 The purpose of this course is to introduce students to the field of international marketing. The first part of the course emphasizes the environmental aspects of international marketing operations. How these environmental dimensions are factored into the assessment of international business opportunities and the choice of foreign market entry strategies is the subject of the second part of the course. Finally, attention is given to the elements of an integrated international marketing plan including those related to product, pricing, distribution, and communication decisions from a conceptual and application perspective.
