**Discontinued** was last offered Fall 2006 Last Updated: 13-DEC-2006 This course surveys the major techniques for analyzing global projects and business ventures. It exposes students to the core principles of international economics, foreign exchange, risk management, and international financial markets. The students also learn how international banking and other financial institutions facilitate trade and commerce inside and outside national boundaries. The course shows students the strategies for financing international operations and how to appraise risk on both a global and national basis.
Prerequisite(s): ECON 1220 or ECON 1221 (may be taken concurrently).
