Students are provided with an introductory understanding of the formation, sources, and application of international law; international personality; jurisdiction of states; the law of treaties; the International Court of Justice; state responsibility; substantive international obligations regarding human rights; the use of force by states; the law of the sea and environment; and international criminal law. Students will receive credit for only one of INTB 2400 or 3500. Prerequisite(s): Completion of a minimum of 54 credits including a minimum "C" grade in six credits of university-transferable English or communications.
