**Discontinued** was last offered Spring 2003 Last Updated: 14-OCT-2004 This course focuses on the critical role played by distribution channels and intermediaries in the modern economy. It provides a detailed analysis of the changing role and functions of intermediaries (wholesalers, retailers, distributors, etc.), structural changes occurring in the Canadian distribution structure (consolidation, trends towards the elimination of traditional intermediaries, electronic commerce, etc.), and the integration of distribution in the marketing mix
