The major topics are: the role of advertising in marketing; advertising plans and strategies; a detailed analysis of media including newspapers, magazines, radio and television; out-of-home advertising; direct advertising; and sales promotion, budgeting and evaluating advertising.
Prerequisite(s): MARK 1115 or PUBL 1115 or permission of the instructor.
