NURS 3115: Family Experiences with Maternal and Newborn Health and Healing

This course emphasizes family-centered care for the generative client. Students learn to develop caring and professional health care relationships with newborns, parent(s), siblings, and families, focusing on health promotion and injury prevention. This course builds on previously learned concepts and integrates new and specialized knowledge and skills. Students have opportunities to broaden their experiences of interprofessionalism. Prerequisite(s): An "S" grade in NURS 2265. Corequisite(s): NURS 3111, 3116, and 3145.
