PHOT 1200: Photographic Explorations II

Photographs are a powerful visual communication tool. In this course, students build upon their basic skills and knowledge to create stronger, purposeful images of both people and objects. They utilize a higher-level understanding of photographic elements, lighting, composition, storytelling, connection to place and space, and post-production techniques when creating photographs. They also learn how to sensitively and objectively discuss and critique photographs through the lenses of Indigenization and equity, diversity, and inclusion.

Prerequisite(s): A minimum "B-" grade in PHOT 1100. Experience using DSLR or mirrorless camera is strongly recommended.
