This course is meant for students who have completed an international internship in WILX 1102 and have an opportunity to continue that internship for a further eight to fourteen weeks to gain more understanding and deepen their learning. During the internship, students observe and explore an international professional environment with an intercultural and land-based learning focus. Students practice intercultural communication and engagement skills while observing and participating in an international work/volunteer environment. This course may be offered in-person or online. Students are required to apply for this course through Langara's Co-op and Career Development Centre. This course is not equivalent to other co-op options at the College. There may be additional student costs associated with this course (e.g. some travel expenses). Application does not guarantee acceptance to the course. Interested students should contact the Langara Co-op and Career Development Centre for more information. Prerequisites: A minimum "D" grade in WILX 1102.
