**Discontinued** was last offered Spring 2007 Last Updated: 16-MAR-2007 This is an introductory course which provides hands-on personal computer experience in the basics of using a mouse-based environment (Windows), word processing (Word XP), spreadsheet (Excel XP), the Internet and e-mail. A theory-based overview of hardware, software and computer fundamentals is included. Practical training focuses on Windows, Microsoft Office XP, and Netscape Navigator. Students with little or no computer knowledge will benefit from this course.

Note: Students may not receive credit for both BCAP 0012 and BCAP 1112. Students who have successfully completed BCAP 1200, CPSC 1010, CPSC 1050 or CPSC 1150 may not take BCAP 1112 for further credit.
