BCAP 1237: Business Information Systems

**Discontinued** was last offered Spring 2007 Last Updated: 16-MAR-2007 This course presents an introduction to computer management information systems and their applications in business. Issues involving system analysis, design, and software applications in a business environment will be included. The course will include hands-on experience using a variety of business computer applications.

Prerequisite(s): While there are no formal prerequisites for this course, students are expected to have some familiarity with the business world from previous business courses and some knowledge of basic computer technology. Students without the necessary computer background. Note: Students will receive credit for only one of BCAP 1237, BCAP 3200, CSIS 2500 and CISY 2415.
