CISY 1215: Business Computer Applications

Emphasis is placed on the systems design consideration, files, programs, procedures and controls required to computerize systems such as order entry, accounts receivable, purchasing, accounts payable, payroll, general ledger and inventory management. Students complete a project to analyze information systems problems and develop recommendations for solutions.

Prerequisite(s): None. Previous experience with computers is recommended. Note: Students will only receive credit for either CISY 1215 or CSIS 1310 and not both courses.
