**Discontinued** was last offered Summer 2009 Last Updated: 30-APR-2009 This course is designed to build on skills introduced in Visual Communications I. Further development of visual skills, process, illustration, finished art, and an in-depth look at typography will be the focus. Classifications of type, theory of alignment, contrast, and organization of type will assist students as they explore layout, grid systems, and package design.

Prerequisite(s): A minimum grade of "C" in DDSN 1111, 1112, 1121, 1122, 1131, 1132, and 1141. Corequisite(s): DDSN 1212
