Discontinued as of Fall Semester 2022 This course builds on the concepts introduced in The Nursing Profession and Health Care I by exploring the ways nurses can influence and create change for the promotion of societal health. An examination of the healthcare context and nursing in other countries is included. Emphasis is placed on selected strategies for enhancing nursing influence on health care systems within the global context. Prerequisite(s): A minimum "C" grade in NURS 5110.
