**Discontinued** was last offered Summer 2006Discontinued as of Fall Semester 2006 Last Updated: 28-SEP-2006 This course is normally offered in a compressed format and explores designing and developing business systems using Oracle. Topics covered include client/server environment, creating and maintaining database tables, building procedures, functions and triggers creating Oracle data block forms and custom forms; and reports to support business applications. Students gain experience problem solving, using prototyping techniques, designing effective graphical interfaces, accommodating user requirements and systems changes, scheduling and delivering projects, managing tight deadlines and making presentations. CISY 2373 and CISY 2374 were formerly CISY 2428. Students with credit for CISY 2428 will not receive credit for CISY 2373 or CISY 2374.
