**Discontinued** was last offered Summer 2004 Last Updated: 13-JUL-2004 In this course students in the second year of Display + Design will increase their design knowledge and skills. The Fall module consists of an intensive series of lectures given by professionals in the Design Industry, workshops related to employment opportunities and strategies and a job specific research assignment done by the students in their area of interest. The Spring module will consist of a two week field placement.The student will be expected to create a daily journal recording his/her experience, and take any necessary photographs of 3 dimensional work created. This journal will be graded at the end of the spring term. This course is supervised by D+D faculty.Tuition for this course is only paid during the Spring enrollment. Students should take a note to register and pay tuition at that time.
Prerequisite(s): Available to students enrolled in the complete D+D program (studios and academics), completion of Term 1 and Term 2 (including academics) and achievement of a G.P.A. of 3.0 Corequisite(s): Must be registered in: Fall - DDSN 2318, DDSN 2328, DDSN 2338, MARK 2323 and PSYC 2317 Spring - DDSN 2418, DDSN 2428, DDSN 2438 and MARK 2421.
