**Discontinued** was last offered Fall 2006 Last Updated: 07-NOV-2006 This course will examine the role of managers of various organizational levels and how they can successfully achieve organizational goals. Topics will include the four major functions of management; planning, organizing, leading and controlling. There will be special emphasis on diversity, multi-cultural and global aspects of the practice of management aimed at productivity improvement. The concepts of total quality management and ethical behaviour will be focused on throughout the course. Students will be exposed to hands-on experience in problem solving, decision making and case analysis to enhance their analytical and team membership skills.
