Discontinued as of Spring Semester 2016 A one-semester lecture course in inorganic chemistry. Topics include a review of basic concepts of bonding and bonding theories. The chemistry of the main group elements is studied. The course also introduces the chemistry of transition elements with an emphasis on bonding in coordination compounds, isomerism and reactions of coordinate complexes.
