Discontinued Fall Semester 2012; replaced by PUBL 1120 Students will learn the basic principles of print publication design: typography, the design process, and layout principles. Participants will learn about logo design and then implement a communications package. Provides an overview of various publishing formats. Studies the effective use of graphic, computer graphics, and photographic illustrations. Evaluations are project-based, with an emphasis on portfolio development.
